Friends of the Palmer Public Library Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization of community volunteers dedicated to promoting the Palmer Public Library and all that it stands for. What do the Friends fund? The Friends of the Palmer Public Library Inc. holds fundraisers to supplement the library’s budget. We contribute to: Library building fund All of the funding for the Summer Reading Program A significant portion of the money used to buy new books for the library Money for special projects, such as children’s computer systems, furniture, etc. Host "Sundays at 2" Community Events Partial funding for shelving Trick or Treat Street Saturday Storytime Other special needs as they come up! A constitution was adopted and Articles of Incorporation as a non-profit organization were filed and accepted by Territorial auditor, Frank A. Boyle.
